fayre's fair!
so, last Sunday the boy and i went to (our first) wedding fayre at House for an Art Lover, and today was the Glasgow Girls event at Pollockshields Burgh Hall with fellow bridey donz - the latter proving miles more useful. there were actually a few suppliers of interest there today which was a well-needed and pleasant surprise. i’d almost resigned myself to not attending the big SECC...
one giant leap into the wedding world
so, despite my best intentions that i would not get sucked into the world of weddings until after the engagement party in february, i am totally, utterly and unashamedly HOOKED! evenings, weekends and the odd lunch hour i’m googling venues, reading brides blogs, emailing companies for quotes and generally being overcome with wedding fever…
but, after approx 6 weeks of research,...
once upon a time...

isn’t there something magical about those 4 little words, ‘once upon a time’?
maybe it’s the attachment to dreamy childhood imagination, or the promise of a ‘happily ever after’ in the end, but those words invite you to believe. believe in all things pure and innocent and beautiful.
like love.
but in reality love...
